Preserving the original architectural character while reflecting the aesthetic concept of "Nature + Civilization = Fashion", it combines a flower shop, fashion retail, art exhibitions, and lifestyle spaces to create a vibrant cultural landmark loved by young people.
This architectural project has been selected in the "City Guide GUANGZHOU" section of the internationally renowned magazine Wallpaper, becoming a famous cultural landmark of Guangzhou and attracting visitors from all over the world.
The incumbent Consuls General of the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Mexico, Australia, and many other nations in Guangzhou have paid multiple visits to GOELIA 225 to promote diverse cultural exchanges and share their fashion perspectives on travel and quality living.
A Space for Civilization & Curation
The traditional Lingnan arcade housing GOELIA 225 dates back to 1948. In order to preserve the original appearance of the traditional Lingnan arcade, GOELIA 225 drew inspiration from both domestic and international examples of architectural renovation and conservation. After three years of enclosed restoration, the building underwent comprehensive reinforcement with steel structures and cement column injections. The weathered walls were repaired and waterproofed, revitalizing the traditional arcade. GOELIA 225 officially opened on June 30, 2009, and has continued to preserve Lingnan culture ever since.
